DAY 1: Monday, November 6, 2023
Today we depart for Branson, Missouri, the musical capital of the Midwest. Our accommodations will be the beautiful Lodge of the Ozarks located on Branson’s main strip. The property has a rustic lodge decor that will make you feel like you are in the Ozark mountains. The Lodge of the Ozarks is known for their included hearty hot breakfast in the morning. Next to the lodge is the Hughes Brothers Celebrity Dinner Theater. Tonight, we simply walk next door to enjoy a delicious three course meal and then go downstairs to experience the Hughes Brothers Christmas show. It has been consistently voted as the best Christmas show in Branson. The Hughes Brothers and family will transport you to a Christmas wonderland filled with the season’s best vocal harmonies, exciting dances, inspiring instrumentals, and of course, the enchantment and lighthearted humor that everyone loves about the Hughes Brothers Show. What a great way to start the tour. And your comfortable hotel room is a few steps away.

DAY 2: Tuesday, November 7, 2023
Today we begin the day with a morning of Christmas shopping. Our first destination is the Amish Country Store. This store contains a large assortment of pickles, jelly, jams, and apple butter products. The Grand Village Shops is our next destination. The twenty-seven shops of the Grand Village Shops are known for their unique and well made products. Shops include Lori’s Soap Market and Kringle’s Christmas Shops, one of the largest Christmas stores in the Midwest. Lunch today is on your own. You might try Mel’s Hard Luck Diner where you are greeted by a 1950s atmosphere, classic diner foods, and a singing staff of waiters. The Sugar Leaf Bakery and Cafe is another dining option.

This afternoon we travel to the Mansion Theatre for the Daniel O’Donnell Christmas show. The Donegal, Ireland based singer is known for his exceptional voice and boyish charm. The show features holiday classics with dancing and live music. Daniel is joined on stage by local choirs. It is one of the most requested holiday shows by visiting tour groups. After an included dinner at the Cracker Barrel restaurant, we visit the Mickey Gilley Grand Shanghai Theatre for Texas Tenors “Deep in the Heart of Christmas” show. The evening show is designed to bring out the feeling of a traditional family Christmas. The Texas Tenors’ salute to the holiday spirit incorporates their trademark breathtaking vocals, playful dancers and singers, a charmingly beautiful Christmas choir, and many magical characters. With over 100 Christmas trees and Christmas carolers, the Grinch even gets in the Christmas spirit!

DAY 3: Wednesday, November 8, 2023
This morning we will visit the Titanic Museum. The museum holds 400 pre-discovery artifacts in 20 galleries and goes to great lengths to transport guests back in time to the original doomed voyage in 1912. As you move through the museum, you will climb through various sections of the ship, including many that are constructed to the actual scale of the original – like the dramatic Grand Staircase. From the engine room to cramped lower class quarters and then up to more spacious first class cabins, the museum mixes detailed reproductions with actual artifacts related to the ship. There are haunting, original life preserver vests, personal letters, and other items that have survived more than a century since the ship’s collision with an iceberg. Guests have the chance to sit in an actual sized lifeboat from the ship or dip their hand in 28 degree water.

After a country style lunch at McFarland’s Family Restaurant, we visit the Clay Cooper Theater for the amazing The Haygood’s Christmas Extravaganza show. It is the most popular show in Branson and always sells out. The Haygoods are five brothers and one sister who have become known for their high energy light and special effects shows. The family began performing the “Haygoods Christmas Extravaganza” in 1993. It has become so popular that the show generally sells out through November and December. The first half of the show is the best of the Haygoods regular season show, and the second half will be the Haygoods Christmas Extravaganza!

Tonight, we visit the Branson Landing waterfront shopping district. It features over 100 specialty shops and restaurants. Dinner is on your own this evening. Select from Guy Fieri’s Kitchen, Paula Dean’s Family Kitchen, Mellow Mushroom, White River Fish House, and many more.

DAY 4: Thursday, November 9, 2023
