Our Policies

By traveling with Travel Cat Tours, LLC each guest agrees to the terms of this policy.

Travel Cat Tours, LLC acts solely in the capacity of an agent on behalf of its tour patrons in arranging for transportation, lodging, sightseeing, and other services. Travel Cat Tours, LLC is not responsible for damage, loss, delay, injury, or accident to any act or default on the part of any person engaged in providing transportation, lodging, sightseeing, or other services, which are part of the tour. We cannot be responsible for the loss of or damage to baggage, or personal property. Travel Cat Tours, LLC has the right to cancel or alter any tour if circumstances or emergencies require it.

Day and Overnight Tour Departures
Passengers will receive departure information via email two to three weeks before the tour. This information will include pick-up location and the time they need to be at this location. Travel Cat Tours, LLC is not responsible if you miss the coach. We recommend being at the pick-up location 30 minutes before departure. If there is an emergency, please immediately call the escort’s cell number, which will be provided. Unfortunately, “No Shows” will not be granted a refund for any portion of the tour.

Tour Payment and Deposits
Final payment for day tours is due one week upon reservation. Reservations made within two weeks of the tour date require immediate payment. Travel Cat Tours, LLC accepts personal checks but not credit cards.

Overnight tours require a $100 refundable deposit upon reservation. Final payment is due 36 days before the tour date. Reservations made after 36 days require immediate payment.

Cancellations and Refunds
Travel Cat Tours, LLC knows that unexpected emergencies may arise, and although we hope this never happens, we will try to be most accommodating with your cancellation refund.

Cancel 35-31 days prior to departure — 25% of total price is nonrefundable
Cancel 30-15 days prior to departure — 50% of total price is nonrefundable
Cancel 14-8 days prior to departure — 75% of total price is nonrefundable
Cancel 7-0 days prior to departure — 100% of total price is nonrefundable

When refunding, please allow 7-10 business days following cancellation for processing. Cancellations must be made in writing (email), and you must receive confirmation from Travel Cat Tours, LLC that your cancellation has been received. In the event that you do not want to travel in certain weather conditions, but we do not cancel the trip, you may choose not to go but unfortunately, due to cost, we will not be able to refund your money. In the rare event that we do cancel a trip due to reasons beyond our control, it is our policy to attempt to reschedule or postpone that trip. If rescheduling is not possible, in some but not all instances we may, at our discretion, offer trip credit in the amount you paid to be used towards future travel with us.

Emergency Contact Information
All passengers are required to provide a cell telephone number. Travel Cat Tours, LLC also requires that all passengers provide an emergency contact name along with their cell number. This information will remain confidential.

Independence Requirement
Travel Cat Tours, LLC cannot be responsible for attending to the needs of travelers who are not capable of caring for their needs independently. Each traveler must be able to board the coach without our full assistance.

Special Dietary Requests
Most of the meals are included when traveling with Travel Cat Tours, LLC. It is the responsibility of the passenger to notify us of any special dietary requirements. These requirements could include gluten-free and vegetarian requests. Travel Cat Tours, LLC will do their best to accommodate these special dietary needs. Please notify us of these needs at the time of your registration.

Refrigerated Medications
If you, the passenger, require refrigerated or cooled medication, it is your responsibility to acquire the appropriate means of cooling. Some, but not all, hotel facilities have a refrigerator. Travel Cat Tours, LLC will try to provide a hotel room with refrigerator if you inform us of this requirement at the time of your registration.

Room Accommodations
Guests booking a trip as double occupancy must notify us if they have a need for either one or two beds at the time they book their trip. If you do not notify us, you will be assigned an available room layout automatically. Any guest regardless of occupancy must notify us of a specific room accommodation you desire at the time of booking and those accommodations, if available, may result in extra charges for the guest to be added to the total of their trip.

Gratuities
Travel Cat Tours, LLC will provide the driver with a gratuity each day. If you feel the driver has done an excellent job, you can add to this gratuity. We suggest a minimum of $3.00 per person per day.

Smoking
Federal law prohibits smoking aboard the motor coach. When we are traveling by motor coach, we will make rest stops every two to three hours for your convenience. Travel Cat Tours, LLC prohibits any drinking of alcoholic beverages on the coach.

Pets and Children
Minimum age for passengers on Travel Cat Tours, LLC is six years of age and anyone 18 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. No pets of any kind are allowed on the motor coach.

Photography Use by Travel Cat Tours, LLC
By traveling with Travel Cat Tours, LLC you give full permission to use any photos taken during a trip to be used by us for any purpose including but not limited to print materials or on our website. Any person wishing to not be included in our photographs must alert the tour guide on their trip.
